INTERVIEWS WITH THE CHARACTERS OF SAVANT

MAIN CHARACTER: TRENT DANNER

Q: What is your name and how did you become involved in this story?

A: Trent Danner, I work as an assistant director for the FBI's special investigations team out of Baltimore Maryland. I became involved under unfortunate circumstances. There is a serial killer on the loose; the media dubbed him Tic Tac Toe. He, I say he because most serial killers are male, however it doesn't mean this person could be female. Though my instincts indicate toward a male suspect.

Q: What do you know about this "Tic Tac Toe" person so far?

A: He's been a tough character to profile because he seems to fit into two categories; organized and disorganized.

Q: Can you give out some information about what you believe Tic Tac Toe is like? It could help if readers know what to look for.

A: For starters, we think he's an intelligent person. So far, each crime scene has not revealed many clues. This person also is not centered in one area, and that makes him dangerous and harder to catch. My guess is he follows the crime through news media, newspapers and social platforms. It's possible he doesn't stay at one job for too long; doesn't want anyone to get too close to him. I believe he is also a charmer, kind of like Ted Bundy. He gets people to trust him then lures them to their death. He's more than likely not an older person; late twenties to late thirties. None of the victims have been sexually assaulted and since Tic Tac Toe is not in one place, I'd say he lives alone.

Q: When Tic Tac Toe is captured what will you do next?

A: I hope to become the next director here in Baltimore. Larry Corbett, my boss, is retiring soon. If Tic Tac Toe is captured it will give me a good shot at the position. However, there is a snag, a minor one and it deals with my brother who lives in Seattle. I just received word this morning that my mother has passed away, so the sooner I can get things taken care of there, the sooner I can get back to the investigation.

Q: Oh? So you won't be the lead investigator?

A: Yes, unfortunately for now that's how it stands. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a plane to catch.
